You’ve seen it on other sites, we aren’t the first to offer this but it’s become very popular and we also have a lot of crap to get rid of. Bottom line is that all wholesalers do tend to accumulate tons and tons of “crap” around the warehouse and don’t know how to get rid of it. Often brand new items that maybe were discontinued but only have one or two left over, maybe something found obsolete, supplements, medicines, left over parts, used or abandoned customer product that was on consignment, samples, computer equipment or supplies from our office, items that came back from a broken shipment like a nano cube but the ballast and or lights are still good, unassembled items, over stock we need to get rid of, etc.
Maybe it’s just plain “Crap” laying around?
Give me a Hint Please: LOL… Nope. However I will say that we will intentionally throw in at least one or more items making some buyers boxes worth in excess of $200 at least once a day and is done completely random! I can also say that we have truely sent out a few boxes worth over $1000 with items like the Octopus 3000 Aquatic Computer System, Metal Halides, etc. Boxes are completely random with one exception. There are times when we get Southern California consumers who even when picking UPS Ground shipping or those who have picked 2nd Day Air or faster and have purposely thrown in some items that would otherwise be perishable like live coral, a fish or two, LRI Copepods, Live Phytoplankton, Frozen Foods, etc. This is about the only exception but again, we don’t guarantee that either.

I’ll also give you a tip! Typically you can get 2 or 3 boxes for nearly the same shipping price as one in most destinations so be sure to look!

I thought a $20 box of crap would be fun, even if it did turn out to be just crap. So I went to the ocean pros site, added it to my cart, and went to the shipping page. Shipping UPS ground was $27 ON TOP of the $20 “box o crap”. So it was really a $47 box of crap. Sorry, but not only am I no longer interested, but it strikes me dishonest of Ocean Pros. I guess I won’t be shopping there.
Ouch! That’s definitely one of the perils of online shopping. That low price looks great, until you get to the shipping page. It’s not always easy to drop a large amount of money to take advantage of free shipping offers and such.
I wonder if the shipping cost is less if you tied it into another order? From what I can gather, the shipping is best if you order a few of the BOC’s but still…that’s a lot of change on a gamble

I’ll be glad to address that comment Aquagirl. You can pickup the BOC FREE of charge! If you want it shipped, it you’re going to have to pay for it just like anything else and with the size of these boxes (not small) and about 20 lbs plus on average, you can’t expect I could pickup shipping also in the $19.95 or do you?
Read our feedbacks and you’ll see everyone very happy and just an inside bite, we always make sure there is enough “good stuff” in the box to justify everythig including shipping.
Now here is the big trick many have caught onto… You can ship 3 boxes for the same as 1! Yep, the same price for one is nearly identical to three which means much better chance of getting some seriously cool stuff.
But yes, it’s a cracker jack prize shot in the dark and to date I’ve sold over 1,000 boxes in the last 5 months or so I’ve offered this so we must be doing something right. Sorry you didn’t feel it was worth it because we would like to earn your business.
